TOWN MANAGER POSITION SEEKING APPLICATIONS

The Town of Gorham, New Hampshire is currently seeking qualified applicants for the position of Town Manager.  Gorham is a four-season recreational area and regional service center located in the Androscoggin Valley at the base of Mt. Washington with a resident population of 2,700. Gorham operates under the authority of a three-member Board of Selectmen. Working with the Town Manager, the Board and Town Meeting annually develop a working budget of $6.67 million dollars excluding schools. Gorham provides a complement of services to its citizens including town offices and vehicle registrations, law enforcement, public works, fire and rescue, recreation, parks, and town forest.

The Board is seeking an individual with demonstrated skills and upper-level management experience in budget preparation and administration, finance, grant acquisition and administration, personnel management, and economic development. The Board of Selectmen would prefer a candidate with municipal management experience and a relevant educational background. Individuals with equivalent work experience and educational qualifications are encouraged to apply. Solid organizational and communication skills are a must. Compensation includes access to insurance & HRA account, NH Retirement, life insurance and a salary negotiable based on experience and qualifications.  The deadline for applications is Friday, February 20, 2026, 4:00 pm, though the Town will continue to accept applications until the position is filled.  Send resume and cover letter with salary requirements to:
