<p>The Town of Gorham is pleased to announce the launch of our new public notification system, <strong>Broadcast</strong>.</p>
<p>Broadcast is designed to provide residents, business owners, and all other stakeholders with timely updates about important happenings in town. Notifications may include, but are not limited to:</p>
<p>•	Public safety alerts and road hazard updates
•	Elections and voting information
•	Public meetings and hearings*
•	Community and recreation events</p>
<p>Those interested in receiving updates can sign up for Broadcast at the link provided <a href="https://gorham-nh.tcbroadcast.online/" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">here</a>. Subscribers may choose to receive notifications via email, SMS**<strong>,</strong> or both. Please note that SMS notifications require a mobile phone number, and voice call notifications are not currently available.</p>
<p>All subscribers will initially receive every type of notification sent by the Town. However, you may customize your preferences at any time by returning to the signup link, selecting <strong>Manage Subscription</strong>, and entering your email address or phone number. While preferences can be tailored, the Town reserves the right to send important notifications to all subscribers when necessary.</p>
<p>We are excited to offer this new service and encourage all interested community members to take advantage of this enhanced communication tool.</p>
<p><em>*This system is not connected to the “Agendas” module on the Town website. Subscribers will not receive alerts for every individual meeting; notifications will be sent selectively, and intentionally.</em></p>

<h3>Certified Police Officer</h3>
<p>The Town of Gorham, NH is seeking qualified applicants for a full-time Certified Police Officer position.</p>
<p><strong>Position Summary</strong>: The Gorham Police Department is accepting applications from certified law enforcement officers. This is a sworn, full-time position responsible for maintaining public safety, enforcing laws, and providing community-oriented policing services in the Town of Gorham.</p>
<p><strong>Essential Duties and Responsibilities</strong>:
•	Patrol assigned areas by vehicle and on foot.
•	Respond to calls for service.
•	Investigate crime and traffic accidents.
•	Enforce motor vehicle and criminal laws.
•	Prepare detailed reports and testify in court.
•	Perform other duties as assigned by the Chief of Police.</p>
<p><strong>Minimum Qualifications</strong>:
•	Must be a certified police officer in the State of New Hampshire.
•	Must possess a valid New Hampshire driver’s license.
•	Excellent communication and decision-making skills.
•	Ability to work rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.</p>
