**Community Development Block Grant Project Update

Gorham Community Learning Center, Building Acquisition**

The Town of Gorham Select Board members will hold a mid-project citizens participation/comment meeting about the Gorham Community Learning Center’s purchase of 355 Main Street Gorham, NH. The meeting will provide a brief overview of the project status for which Gorham was awarded $500,000 via a Community Development Block Grant from the Community Development Finance Authority. Additional monies from the Northern Border Regional Commission will be used for building renovations in early 2026. The meeting will be held in the Gorham Town Hall on Monday, February 9, 2026 at 6:00 PM. The public is encouraged to attend.

The Community Development Finance Authority awards up to $500,000 annually to municipalities on a competitive basis for housing/public facilities, economic development, micro-enterprise and emergency activities that directly benefit low- and moderate-income people. This meeting includes a high-level review of the project and an opportunity to ask questions or comment about the project.
